Elena March Advisory
I help ambitious leaders stop optimizing the wrong thing.
Studio Note
"Elena told us the thing no one on our board would say out loud. Within six months of acting on her thesis, we restructured our go-to-market and added $14M in pipeline. She doesn't just advise — she writes the argument that makes the decision inevitable."
Practice
The capabilities read like a point of view
This should feel curated and authored, not like a feature grid copied from somewhere else.
01
Strategic Clarity Sprint
A four-week engagement that surfaces the real strategic question your team keeps avoiding. You leave with a written thesis, a decision framework, and a sequenced plan — not another deck full of options.
02
Positioning & Narrative Architecture
For companies whose story no longer matches their ambition. I build the positioning logic, messaging hierarchy, and internal language that lets every team speak with one voice.
03
Fractional Strategy Office
Ongoing advisory for founders who need a rigorous thought partner, not another consultant. Monthly retainer includes direct access, quarterly strategy reviews, and written briefs that hold up under scrutiny.
04
Leadership Offsites & Facilitation
High-stakes facilitation for executive teams navigating inflection points — new markets, succession, re-orgs, or pivots. Structured to produce decisions, not alignment theater.
Approach
How the work gets shaped without over-explaining it
The best portfolio sites sound exacting and lived-in. They do not sound like an agency funnel.
01
Diagnosis
We start with a candid intake conversation and a review of your existing strategy artifacts. I identify the core tension — the gap between where your organization says it's headed and where it's actually pointed.
02
Thesis Development
I draft a written strategic thesis with supporting logic, trade-off analysis, and recommended moves. This is authored work, not a template. You receive something you can pressure-test, debate, and build on.
03
Decision & Activation
We refine the thesis together, resolve open questions, and translate it into commitments your team can execute against. I stay available through implementation to keep the strategy honest.
Testimonials
Praise that can sit in open space and still hold weight
The quotes are treated editorially, with room to breathe and enough contrast to feel intentional.
"Elena told us the thing no one on our board would say out loud. Within six months of acting on her thesis, we restructured our go-to-market and added $14M in pipeline. She doesn't just advise — she writes the argument that makes the decision inevitable."
"Most consultants hand you a framework and disappear. Elena handed us a seven-page brief that fundamentally changed how we think about our category. Two years later, our entire executive team still references it in planning sessions."
"Working with Elena felt like having the sharpest person in the room permanently on retainer. She challenged our assumptions without being contrarian for sport. The clarity she brought to our positioning saved us from a rebrand we didn't need."

Collaboration offers framed like real working relationships
A portfolio-forward site should describe scopes of collaboration, not commodity tiers.

FAQ
Margin notes for the good-fit client
Keep the answers focused and editorial. One clear paragraph usually beats a soft sales answer.
Founders, CEOs, and executive teams at companies between $10M and $500M in revenue who are navigating a strategic inflection — a new market, a stalled growth engine, a leadership transition, or a positioning problem they can feel but can't articulate.
I work alone, I write everything myself, and I take fewer than eight clients per year. There are no junior associates, no recycled frameworks, and no hundred-slide decks. You get direct access to one senior mind who is accountable for the quality of the thinking.
Most clients start with the Clarity Sprint to establish a working relationship and a strategic baseline. About half continue into an ongoing retainer. Offsites and positioning work are scoped separately based on complexity.
Selectively. I work best with founders who have real revenue, real customers, and real decisions to make — not companies still searching for product-market fit.
My work spans B2B technology, healthcare, professional services, and consumer brands. The common thread is leaders who value rigorous thinking and are willing to act on it.
